The fragrances of fig, prune, pastry dough, honey, and maple are present in the perfume. The palate of Louis XIII is lengthy and strongly woody, with layers of flavor appearing in the midpalate that include dried apricot, prunes, dates, figs, and vanilla. Finishes more oaky than fruity and succulent, but still elegant, warm, and smooth.
